Default Perdomo Patriarch Corojo

This cigar has very nice construction. It is firm throughout and pre-light draw was very nice. The band on this is nice and simple, along with the band at the foot.

The first draw really hit the taste buds with a very nice mellow spice flavor. I found myself taking longer draws than I usually do, because I kept wanting more of the great taste. Towards the end of the first 3rd, the spice turned to a light earthy flavor.

As I got into the second 3rd, the flavor reminded me of buttered popcorn. As it progressed this buttered popcorn flavor became a bit more intense. I was really enjoying this smoke, and the ash held for about half of the cigar before it gave way.

Although this cigar did not give of a ton of smoke, it gave enough to really fill your mouth with flavor. The draw remained nice from start to finish. The final third went to a smooth creamy leather flavor. It finished up quite nice. I would consider this to be a mild-medium smoke. It lasted just over an hour, and I really didn't want it to end. This is only the second Perdomo I have smoked and I must say that I'm becoming quite a fan. This cigar was smoked ROTT.

Nice review--my son SyscoKid really likes these. I haven't seen any locally since earlier this year, my B&Ms stopped carrying them since they weren't moving that well.

Nick, I am really enjoying the reviews you do. Please continue doing them for the benefit of us all.

This looks like a tasty smoke for the early morning.

I really like these for the earthy flavors you noted above. I turn to these a lot when I want a break from all the peppery cigars on the market. A nice smooth smoke every time.

P.s.
Great Pics!!!

Thanks guys, I'm really enjoying doing these. It makes me concentrate more on the cigar, instead of just smoking right through them.
