I was just commenting on how amazing Stubbs was last night. 0-4 with 4 strikeouts and 6 runners left on base, 5 in scoring position.

The team looked like doo doo in general. Playing good teams is seriously starting to catch up with them now. They weren't competitive against winning teams last year and this year seems to be a continuation of that.

I thought it was funny when Aroldis Chapman saved the game and he forgot and started walking to the dugout

I thought that it was funny the Reds blew an 8 run lead in 3 innings. Man this team looks bad sometimes.

It's amazing that we're still in contention at this point. Sometimes it's good to be in the NL Central.

That was the comment on ESPN today. They were talking about if the Pirates were for real, if the league continues to be this terrible, anyone is in contention.

Good to see Cozart up. I just wished it had been Renteria gone rather than Janish being optioned. Good to see Volquez knocked down again.

I think they said Volquez will be up shortly. I think they were saying that they just dropped him so they could bring Carlos Fisher up because of the extra innings game.

I'm a bit nervous about him, but at this point, I don't think he can be any worse than Volquez.

Volquez needs to be gone for good this time. Trade him to some team who needs pitching desperately enough to take him.

I'm not putting blame on him. Yes, he failed us twice in a row, but he should never have been put into that spot in either game. How does a team just blow leads like that?

And they still lost. His amazing angle on the Weeks fly ball led to a nice inside-the-park job. I think it is safe to say that Stubbs has no effect on how this team does, he plays well and they lose, he sits or strikes out 3 times in a game and they win. Based on a crazy stat on fangraph, Drew Stubbs in the lineup gives them a -7.79% chance on winning a game, and I tend agree based on how he plays.
