I'm right in that same boat, E.J., I'm rooting for Vegas but would think it was super cool if Ovechkin got the Cup. Mostly just hoping for a great series!

At least they crushed Nashville before they exited.

They got a two week head start on the golf course. Ask Filip Forsberg if going 7 games made it better.

It still means that Nashville packed up lockers two weeks before Winnipeg!! Plus they just showed that if Nashville can’t do much without Rinne. It was a good series but Nashville still lost which meant we don’t have the peanut gallery of Elderboy praying and hoping that Nashville can play hockey!

Next game ... Monday

In the last few years ... sometimes a week before finals start

With a total lack of continuity at the beginning of the finals ... is it any wonder that hockey is looked at as minor league sport ???

NHL big heads should get their act together ... only people still interested in hockey are in Vegas and Washington .

A week is just tooooooo long

I'm still in a deep blue funk. Team ran out of gas and had no idea what to do with Fleury after game 1.

Now rooting for Ovechkin, but I'm afraid goalies win the Stanley cup, and right now Fleury is HOT.

Couldn't agree more, D. How do they let the momentum of both teams cool for 6+ days?

Well Vegas has a couple Bruins on their team, guess that's something to go with, love the note the Raiders sent them "Just Win, Baby!".
