Default The Cigar Shop Next to the Hotel

Well, long term training is nearly finished with my airline. The hotel the airline choose happened to be neighbors with Neptune Cigars in Ft. Lauderdale. I knew this wouldn't end well, I didn't smoke every day but the whole store is a humidor. Like a kid in a candy store, I never walked out empty handed, buying several cigars I've never tried before. I sorta kept track of the sticks I like, keeping the bands.

I'd also like to say thank you again to the fine folks who helped fill my coolidor, the weather has warmed enough to enjoy some of those sticks. Some might not be regulars, but it's been great to be able to try and expand my knowledge and palate.

Here's a list of smokes I enjoyed during nearly 8 weeks of training:

La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor Reserva

Aging Room F55 Quattro

Salud Amor Pesetas Eiroa

Alec Bradley American Classic Blend

Torano Master

La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero

La Flor Dominicana Air Bender

Alec Bradley Tempus

Perdomo Habano Corojo

Partagas 1845 Black Label

Cain Straight Ligero

Cain Straight Ligero F

CAO La Traviata

Ashton VSG

Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial

Illusione 88

Tatuaje tattoo

Padron 6000

Padron 1964 Anniversary Series

Brickhouse Maduro

Sosa Underground

Sosa Super Selection

Arturo Fuente Cuban Corona Maduro

These are the labels I kept for future reference, some didn't make the cut.

You'd have to be special, to confuse those with CCs.

But back on topic, nice selection you tried there. Glad the VSG made your cut.

I did enjoy the VSG but the burn was horribly off, some rest in the coolidor would've straighten things out.

Both the Padron's were amazing, the 1964 showed a some age, a great way to celebrate a completed checkride.

That's a great list and an awesome place to visit. I was there about a month ago and couldn't believe the selection. Staff was second to none also. I'm glad I live 10 hours from it or I'd be more broke than I already am.

Glad you liked the place, it's top notch. The Ladies that work the store know their cigars and super nice. It took a month for them to stop asking if I needed any help. We did strike up some small talk. Neptune was the bright moment after a long day learning to flying an Airbus.
