Did an AJ Fernandez zoom on cigarbid -- spent an evening bidding on his cigars.
The boxes arrived today -- La Herencia Cubana Oscuro Fuerte toro, Man O'War toro and Nica Libre torpedo.
Like the extra-thick design on La Herencia box. And the cigars' heft matches the boxes' muscle.
The Man O'War box arrived busted. When you un-snap the box, the top comes right off, leaving the hinges on the box bottom, but cigars seem fine.
SOrry about the MoW box but that's a heck of delivery.

I picked up a box of Diesels and the regular LHCs from cbid a few weeks ago. Nice packaging on both.
Sorry to hear about your MoW box. At least the sticks are ok.

So based on CI and there "AJ Fernandez 5-Star Sampler - 5 Cigars"
I think it's safe to add the Gurkha Sherpa and RP Fusion Double Maduro (Fusion MM) to the AJ Fernandez blended cigars list.
BTW I have some of the 5 Vegas AAA on the way. I'll let you know what my mostly useless opinion is.

Updated list:
5 Vegas "AAA"
A. Fernandez Signature Series
Cigar.com House Blend Brazilian Label
Diesel Unholy Cocktail
Double Happiness
Esteban Carreras Habano
Graycliff G2 Turbo
Gurkha Park Avenue
Gurkha Sherpa
ITC 10th Anniversary
La Cuna Bin No. 85
La Herencia Cubana
La Herencia Cubana Oscuro Fuerte
Man O' War
Man O' War Ruination
Man O' War Virtue
Nica Libre
Padilla Achilles
Padilla Habano
Reposado 96
Rocky Patel Fusion\
Rocky Patel Double Maduro
Rocky Patel Signature
Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet

It looks like that site is a mirror for empiricalcigar.com, which was referenced earlier in the thread.

I scored some of the Imperials a while back, when cigar.com had the 5ers for $10.95 w/ free shipping. Basically got a box worth without the box.

I love it when stuff like this happens. You catch a great sale and then for dessert they send it free. Some days the Cigar Gods smile greatly on us.

Seems like they do that fairly often on the daily deal, as long as you pick up 2 or more 5ers.

Yeah, you can get some great deals on 5ers from the devil site, especially if you watch for Quickies that end early in the evening.

ROTT = Right off the truck.

For anyone interested, cbid just posted a "specials" sale on a 15 Nica Libres sampler. Auction ends Saturday, but if you bid early you may get it at the offering price. http://www.cigarbid.com/auction/lot.cfm?lotID=880284

I'm passing as I bid on some stuff from last Thursday to this coming Wednesday to save on shipping. First time in quite a while I've bought from cbid...as addictive as I remember it! Good luck bidding.
