Post Bolivar Cofradia Cuban Corona

"The Bolivar Corfradia, formerly known as Bolivar Fuerte, was introduced in 2000. It is a bold, master crafted cigar created in the Villazon factory under direct scrutiny of master cigar maker Estelo Padrón and proves to be his strongest blend to date. With an Ecuadorian wrapper and binder, and Honduran and Nicaraguan filler it is nothing less than a bold, robust smoke with heavy flavors and is intoxicating with its decadent flavors, heady aroma, and intense finish. It is a cigar for the experienced connoisseurs."

I grabbed this cigar out of my humi in an effort to try smoking a cigar which, at least to me, isn't really talked about much.

Like the description said, this is the Honduran version, not the Dominican version put out by General Cigar. (I beleive General also put this blend out as well.)

To say the least, this cigar was decent, but nothing to write home about. It had a great draw, solid construction and a blemish free wrapper. It's got a cool old school band on it, similar to it's Cuban cousins.

It had a basic sweet tobacco flavor, with hints of cinnamon, earth, and spice. it was very creamy and the body was very mild, imho. It really reminded me of the LGC Wavell Natural, however the Bolivar was creamier and smoother than the Wavell.

Overall, a 6/10. This cigar would be bad for newer smokers or for giving out to friends.
