Default Viaje MOAB & FOAB

Has anyone noticed, that the bands glow in the dark?

Just something interesting I noticed.

Seems like a waste to me. What's the point? Sounds like another gimmick for a cigar. Are these smokes any good? Never had em.

Yes IMO the S&B series are very good smokes. There aren't too many Viaje cigars that I do not like; however, these are definitely in the top 3 for me.

These are some strong stogies! I'd put them up there with Opus strengthwise

I didn't find them to be that strong. But they are great little smokes. Wish Andre would learn how to make larger smokes for the money.

I think Andre COULD make longer/larger smokes for the same money, but IMHO, Viaje being a "boutique" brand, can get away with smaller sticks, for more $$. I wouldn't mind trying one, as I've only smoked one Viaje, and I don't even remember which one it was.. but these look decent.

Exactly! Why sell something for five dollars if clever marketing and sucker testing has people beating your door down willing to chuck three or four times the money at you for the same product. Just like tat's and ghurka's, Fancy boxes, bands (maybe even as cheesy as glow in the dark or a "free" knife) and viola it doesn't really matter whats rolled up in there to most hard core brand loyal types will be on board and defend "their" brand to the death. <<<<

FYI, the glow in the dark bands only appear on the M?stery S&B released for Halloween. As an admitted Viaje whore I cant say enough about these. One of my favorite Viajes. From what Ive read, Andre keeps them short because they are very strong. He makes longer smokes in other lines.
