Heyyyyyyyyy folks.

So growing up, I always thought wine was that stuff in a big jug for $5.99. Wasn't a fan. But I moved to the middle of Wine Country, CA about 3 yrs ago, and after going tasting with friends a few times, I now appreciate wine.

Drinking a Syrah from Lodi, CA right now. Wine club price is $12 and this s#it is so good, I'm gonna enter it into a blind taste test with some wine snobs I'm hanging out with later this month.

My $12 Syrah got 3rd place out of 12.

I moved back down to SoCal a couple of months ago. I will miss the wine from up north. Guess I'll have to make a road trip once in a while.

Scored a 2015 chave blanc recently in a raffle. My first chave and I’m probably going to save it for spring

Opened a 2010 Shafer Hillside with a lamb shank dinner tonight. Fantastic juice

We visited Lodi ack in June and found a number of very fine, inexpensive reds there!
