The SPDM Quixote is probably one of my top five favorite cigars at any price. Top ten for sure. The Extra Fuerte in the same size is also easily in my top ten.

Thumbs up Re: Sancho Panza Double Maduro... great first box

OK, OK, you convinced/reminded me already! I just purchased a box of Sancho Panza Quixote DM and a box of Excalibur 1066 Dark Knight (I love these too).

That's a lot of cigar for the price. Great Maduro.

I did not know this. I'll have to buy some. Are all Sancho Panza rolled blended by Padron or just the DM?

Knew I'd read this somewhere...
From http://www.bestcigarprices.com/sancho-panza-cigars/

"Crafted under the direction of Estelo Padrón, the great Hoyo de Monterrey cigar master, Sancho Panza is a superbly constructed, square-pressed cigar."

Yup... that first box is almost gone. I refuse to believe there is a better cigar out there for the money. No way.

And yeah I had read that about Estelo Padron--that is a different "Padron" then the one behind the Padron brand right? I'm a n00b, forgive me.

The SPDM is a great smoke and the price makes it that much better.

Just smoked one on the way into work today.
Its rough but in a good way. Its a tasty smoke for the money. The rough aspects of it are what keep it intresting for me. Very consistent flavor wise and for the price damn good. I dont want to say I liked it more that the Cohiba Secretos I have had, but its pretty damn close call. For the price it wins by a mile.

Different as in not connected to the Padron family business but he is the brother of José Orlando Padron, Sr.

Good little bio of him here.
