Default Best semi-affordable Hygrometer out there?

For a few that I've talked to it's been no secret that I've had some humidity issues this past while.

I want to retire my primary hygro to a backup and get a nice quality hygro that is very accurate.

Any recommendations? Something less than 40$.

Thanks

I have three of these, and they work great.

I have a bunch of Hygroset II's. They're calibratible, and they work great. Under $25.00 shipped.

not sure if they are the best, but they are pretty inexpensive and work well.

I have an Oregon Scientific weather station so I use the OS temperature and humidity sensors. The sensors can be used without the main station and they are very accurate. Here are a couple of different models: THC268 and THGR122NX.

They are a little on the expensive side (but under $40), but if you have or ever get the station you can log the information to watch how your humidor fluctuates throughout the day.

BTW, when's the next time you are going to be in PDX for a Herf?

This is a great unit. Compared it to a calibrated unit costing MUCH more and it was bang on. These are all I use now..

Not sure. Next time I'll be in the area is Thanksgiving Weekend, but doubt there will be a herf then.

May spend a week in the PDX area around the time before or after Christmas / New Years.

Either way, it will be a while . Between work and 2 intensive design courses and the fact that Corvallis is now my home, versus just a place I visit during the school year, it makes it hard to say when I'll be in the area.
