Default Perdomo Reserve Oscuro R

I got this stick from a S-CHIP sampler on cbid.

Humidor time: 1 month

Prelight: Excellent construction, with minimal veins. The wrapper was dark and oily. Prelight draw was moderate, tasting of bittersweet chocolate and coffee.

Burn: The burn was very straight. Ash was solid and held on well. Draw was moderate. The burn time was about an hour.

Flavor: In addition to the chocolate and coffee promised in the prelight draw, every so often I got a hint of dried cherry. There was a nice amount of spice on the finish.

Summary: I enjoyed this stick. Flavors were good, and construction was great, something I've come to expect from the Reserve line.

Thanks for the review Jeff. I've been eying these for a spell now and will have to purchase a fiver of the robusto' when funds allow. Did you find these medium or medium-full bodied?

I'd say a solid medium. Good flavors, but not in your face like a DPG Blue or Ruination.

Pretty good stick. C.I. or C-Bid has boxes for around $60 sometimes.

You're welcome. Thinking about picking up a 5er of these myself to rest for a bit.

I've only tried the Champagne and Sun-grown from this line. Champagne was ok for a mild stick, and the Sun-grown was super strong (I loved it). I've been wanting to try the Oscuro, as I can't seem to find anymore of the Sun-grown.

Haven't tried the SG, just the Champagne, Oscuro and Golf (which is kinda sorta part of this line).
