Default Remote hygrometer???

Anyone have experience with this hygro? I'm thinking about using it for my coolidor project so I can just put all my boxes in the igloo and put it in my closet and not have to worry about opening it up to check RH.

Usually if you use a cooler it holds a pretty good seal. Majority of people who use coolers don't worry about the RH unless it is stored in a very high or low temp area. I would suggest a Caliber III and some beads.

BTW what's the price on that?

Jay is right -- coolers are generally very stable.

I use Oregon Scientific hygrometers for my two desktop humidors -- they are both wireless. There are several threads on this topic. Here is a post I made a while back:

I have no idea what brand or model that is, since you didn't provide that.

I like my Oregon Scientific.

Sorry guys, here is the link. BCP is offering it for $29.95, I am going to use HF 65% (1 lbs.) split in half inside the coolidor (54 qt.) that will be filled with 4 cedar trays and filled boxes for storage.
