While I have found most of the Gurkha's to be well flavored I have found the quality to be inconsistent. A wrapper will be too thin and break or unravel or holes in the wrapper. I guess for the price especially if they are on sale they are a fair deal. Just dont expect (add your favorite) quality from them and you wont be too terrible dissapointed.

Fact, it's all subjective. If you hear too much about a particular cigar, then you might develop preconceived opinions about it before you even smoke it. Smoke it, and if you like it, then that's all that matters.

X2... like what you smoke and smoke what you like

You won't know if you like it or not if you don't try it.

Lots of bashing Gurkha. This is great for those who enjoy them. I think they are fine and enjoy them quite often.

I smoked two awhile back. The flavor wasnt bad but both split the whole length of the cigar as i smoked them. It created a terrible draw and wasnt pleasant to smoke.

He asked for an opinion, and we gave our honest opinions. There is certainly a lot of people who like them in this thread. Most people who didn't like them ended by saying "but smoke what you like"

I have had a few Gurkha's but not the Beast. It would be nice to hear what you think of it after you have one.

The couple of Gurkha's that I have had haven't been bad just not a whole lot to them, kinda got boring for me. But like others have said if you find something you enjoy smoke it.
