I have the Boze portable and love it.

Just bought my dad an Altec for $129 at Best Buy that sounds amazing for the money.

Not familiar with the ones you list.

This is what I use:

Hooks up to everything I have from the home stereos, to TV, to my portable units.

Under $15.

Altec seems to be the leader in this field. I would go with the Altec. You might want to also look into the Altec Orbit for extreme portability.

I have a Klipsch iFi in my bathroom. It is absolutely insane. It's discontinued, but if you could find one at ebay, it makes great sound.
It works with our iphones, but doesn't support charging. The dock is getting a bit touchy, too. It's probably served it's time, but we keep limping it along.

iHome makes lots of stuff, we have an under the counter, and some other stuff around. It's so-so, but convenient.
