Cracking my window with the air blowing on the floor seems to help quite a bit. Pretty soon it will be warm enough to leave the sunroof open! I can't wait for the warm weather to get here!

I use to burn one to and from work...my car stunk like an old homeless man covered in crap, LOL. Once in awhile I will still smoke one but try not to. I really didn't have a problem with it burning funny but I usually just crack the passenger window.

I don't smoke in the car as I shudder to think of burn holes in the leather seats as well as trying to use my lighter for touchups and lighting the cigar proper. That much dual attention to the road and to the cigar spells an accident.

Like anyone else, I do do two things at once while driving, but the only technique that I've found that seems even moderately safe is quick glances at the road alternating with giving attention to the second thing. But for me, I find that I forget to do the quick, alternating bits of attention to both things, the attention to the road suffering.

I only smoke in my car on loooonnnnnnggggg roadtrips. Usually just crack the window and relax. Never had any burn issues. My car has big windows so a small crack has a lot of area to keep air moving, but not fast.

I have a junk "work" car that I smoke in. No one drives or rides in it but me. I always crack the only window that works and now I use a XIKAR Ash Can. I do not know what you guys are smoking that stinks so bad. My car smells like the local cigar lounge and I love it. No one is allowed to smoke in the family vehicle.

I often wonder the same thing when someone says it makes their vehicle stink. I started smoking in my truck the first day I bought it (new 5 years ago) and most of the time you can't tell I even smoke in it. I just crack a window when I smoke and NEVER let the cigar butt linger in my ashtray. I also use one of those little air vent air fresheners in it, but those things last like a week and I usually change it out twice a year.

My truck is a truck, I can buy a new one when it stinks to bad, but I'm always smoking in my truck.

My truck is my smoking lounge, because I won't smoke in the house. Besides, what better excuse for an aimless drive on a beautiful day?

I've started smoking sometimes on the way to work now, and I'm amazed at how much better my mood at work is when I have a cigar beforehand.

Try using some dryer sheets stuffed under each seat. When the sun heats the inside up they'll keep it smelling nice.

I don't smoke in my truck often but when I do I keep the window cracked, they cab doesn't smell at all....at least I don't think it does...

Funny you say that. My sister was commenting about my Colorado, I told her that when it gets
really hot, I can still get some new car smell out of the old truck, it was 6 years old when I sold
it this January.
She said that she always thought it smelled new. Now I have no KIDS to make it smell like spilled
oatmeal, poop and cheetos, but I smoked in it all the time. I would turn the air to feet only, fan on
low or medium, and crack the driver's window a half inch. PERFECT draw, no smoke in the eyes,
and obviously, no smell LONG TERM. OH, AND NO RECIRCULATING AIR WHILE SMOKING.

another vote for air flow turned on at your feet and a cracked window. Never an issue. I hardly drive anywhere over 20 minutes without something fired up.

It also helps to remove any ashes and stogies as soon as possible; they are the real cause of any stink...

Brad, thats how I keep my truck smellin sweet too.
Given the choice, I will always pick having my truck "stink" of cigars over the smell of oatmeal, poop and cheetos!

I regularly drive 4hrs plus. Great time to consume a few. Like previous people have mentioned the floor vent and cracked window works well. I have a lot of non smokers come in my truck and they never complain

From time to time, I smoke in my car but I try not to.

Not because the smell bothers me, it's mainly because I feel like I smoke way too fast and therefore I cannot enjoy it as much. Oh and ashing my my work clothes sucks too.
