Thumbs up Kentucky Fired Cured

Drew's put out some new (somewhat new) cigars call Kentucky Fired Cured...I had the "Fat Molly" yesterday...gotta say...much impressed. Flavor changes were complex and the smoke was thick and smooth...anyone try these yet?

They are different. I have a few of the smaller ones (forget the name, same size as Bait Fish). I have not smoked one since I got the original three. They are good for a change of pace. Would not put on regular rotation though.

Same here, I've smoked a few of the smaller singles, and they are good if you're in the mood for something different. Although the first one I had I thought I was in trouble when I did a cold draw and it tasted like a burnt campfire, but it settled down after a bit of smoking.

I've smoked a couple with a lower-end scotch, and found the pairing to be quite enjoyable. Don't go busting out the 21 year single malt stuff though.

If you like those, give the Sam Leccia Black a try. It has a touch less fire cured tobacco, so its more subtle.

Bought the smallest sized one, on cold draw tasted like I was sucking on charred wood. Upon lighting it tasted pretty much the same, saw it was taking me to a dark place I put it out 1/4 of an inch in. Was not for me but taste is subject to who smokes !

I didn't care for it. I thought it was boring and one dimensional.

I've had a few. In my opinion they are much better if they're left out of the cello for a few days. Gives the cigar time to breathe and lose some of that chemical liquid smokish flavor...I prefer Leccia Black over the KFC...

I did not like the KFC, felt like I was smoking a camp fire.

I have tried one and it was not my thing. If I want smoked tobacco I will turn to my pipe and a Latakia blend. They are solid cigars, but found the smoke flavor to get overwhelming after a while.

I liked the one I had. Certainly different. I could taste the woods and a slight BBQ flavor. Left a sweetness. On. My lips.

I got a pack of 10 sticks for under $70. Thought it was a good buy for a different smoke.
