Default Thermoworks Humidity Pen

Was looking at some kitchen supply stuff and saw this online and on sale and thought that it would be great in the humidor. I haven't used it but I have been really impressed with their other products. Their folding cooking thermometers are the standard in professional kitchens.

Not sure if this is the right forum for this. I am not associated in any way with the site so not a sales/vendor item.

Unless you have a walk-in humidor and want to check the humidity in every nook and cranny, I'm really not so sure how much use it would be, as it's not really intended to be left in one spot. It's a meter that you walk around and spot check areas with. Also, I'm not sure if it has an auto-off timeout and there's no mention in the instructions of any way for the user to adjust or calibrate it.

Personally, for $18, I'll just stick with the adjustable Hygroset temp/humidity units from Michael at HCMBeads.com. I have 4 of them and they all work great.
