Thanks, Peter! Very, very affordable!!! It'd be nice to find another good sippin' quality bourbon for less than $60!!!!! Few and far between. I've never seen it in Alabama, which means it's not on the state's "approved" list. But I'll be in Tennessee on and off over the next three months, and there are several excellent stores within a couple of miles, so may be able to find it there!!

I was looking at the 18 year Saturday night, but Zaya caught my eyes instead. Kind of on a rum kick lately.

I'm sure I'll get back into bourbon. Set aside a few hundred $$$ for the 2012 WLW, Stagg and Pappy.

It was my understanding that Buffalo Trace not only used differs seasoning and charing techniques, but the also used different mash bills for the whiskey that filled the barrels. Matt-N-GA pointed out to me that the WL Weller Special Reserve had be marked down to $9.99 a quite a few of our local stores, as a marketing ploy to gain interest. Well it worked for me, I had never tried it but this stuff is really good.

I did

Mink's in Marietta on Delk Road and Michael's also in Marietta on Whitlock Road I know for sure had that pricing last week.
