Default Re: Has anyone done this to one of their lighters?

I don't own a Dupont but yes I put my lighters in the freezer for about 10 minutes before refilling. They fill up quickly and completly. Prior to this they would only fill about 80%.

Literally the best 10 bucks I ever spent, the adapters for refilling the lighter work great, simple piece of machined brass that works like a charm. Now I can use my favorite lighter, not worry about wasting refill cartridge after refill cartridge and only getting a day or so worth of use out of the lighter. 5 pumps with the canister and I'm going on 4 days so far without refilling.

I have a rotation of lighters that sit in the freezer until I am ready to refill them. This works great and I haven't had any issues with it as long as you bleed them before you put them in the freezer.
