Default San Juan River, NM trout fishing pictures

I was in Albuquerque on business and decided to play hooky one day. ABQ is a nice place except for all the hippies, but the drive up to Farmington is incredible.

The San Juan River is world class trout fishing, and even a newbie to fly fishing like me caught a few.

Oh yeah, and Rudy's BBQ is great

Here are the pictures

Beautiful area, curious, the "Prime Rib" is that smoked, were I grew up in FL there was a bbq joint that used top round for their smoked beef and I loved it, just depends on what you grow up eating, that or brisket, prime rib smoked would probably at least be interesting.

I've had really good smoked prime rib, unfortunately it wasn't at Rudy's

Their brisket and links are the best thing on the menu. It's actually a chain restaurant. They're all over Texas / New Mexico.
