Default crock pot/slow cooker recipies

Anyone have anything they like?

For the past 3 weeks I've been busy renovating my house so I can move in, and consequently have been living off of crap for dinner, if I bother eating at all.

I'm looking for any ideas for something I can prep late at night, toss in the pot on my lunch break, and be mildly decent in 10 hours or so.

I know there's at least one crock pot around here, but I've never used it...so any pointers are greatly appreciated.

The first one that comes to mind Corned Beef with Cabbage.

Let the brisket go for about 6 hours and then add the cabbage for 2-3 hours.

Made some beef stew yesterday.

1 1/2 pound cubed beef
1 1/2 pound potatoes cubed
1/2 bag baby carrots
1 package mushrooms
1 medium onion chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 empty soup cans of milk
1 pack dry beef stew mix or pot roast mix

Mix them all in the slow cooker on low and wait 6-7 hours.

It was pretty tasty and plenty of left overs

Get a little bottom round roast sear it in a pan to get the sides brown. Move to the slow cooker. Add some garlic cloves, water or stock, a package or two of onion soup mix and a half a bup of BBQ sauce. Drop that roast in there and let it go. When you get home, remove the roast, pull it apart with two forks and add some BBQ sauce and retun to the cooker for 5 minutes. Get a nice crusty hero roll and drop some BBQ sauce on it and put on your pulled beef and enjoy with a nice cold beer.

When you make a roast in the crock pot, pour some Coke in the bottom of the pot before putting the roast in. It makes the meat more moist.

I will throw some deer meat in (when I get it) pretty much any meat will work, some cream of shroom soup and some french onion soup. Its good over noodles or rice and dinner rolls. I will sometimes do beef ribs when I want bbq sauce on ribs and a no fuss meal. The only way I will do pork ribs in the crockpot is when I will be adding saurkraut.
