Default Do you smoke indoors?

I smoke outdoors pretty much all the time. When I've shopped at my local B&M, I leave smelling like stale smoke. There's a big difference to me from the smell I have on me from smoking a good cigar in open air and accumulated smoke from the lounge. I went to an event lately at the B&M, smoked one there and left early because I was getting a little sick actually. I'm new to smoking cigars and guess I'm not used to it as much yet. Just wondering if others are like me and only smoke outside.

I smoke outside.
I don't turn down a chance to smoke indoors. But unless the ventilation is good, I agree with you about the lingering smell. That and how many people are smoking.

I much prefer to smoke indoors by a large margin. One piece of advice for smoking inside; smoking jacket...

I smoke outdoors, mainly because my wife has asthma. If it weren't for that I'd probably smoke in my man cave.

At my own house, smoke outside almost all the time. Save the occasional pipe.

At a lounge, I'm usually alright smoking inside. However I tend to go to them when they aren't very busy.

I have no desire to hotbox, so if the indoor ventilation isn't that great, I'm not going to hang around.

Outside currently. When we get our own home and i get a mancave I will be allowed to smoke in there with some provisions.

A) There is a high quality air purifier in the room. Still looking at options but i think four of those rabbitair ones will do the trick.

B) The room is kept under a vacuum to stop smoke from escaping into the rest of the house.

The only time I smoke indoors is in my garage. It is heated and insulated, and I've put some nice lounge type furniture out there to enjoy a cigar with. Not sure if that counts though in your survey.

I've never smoked in the house. I won't even smoke in the shop unless the garage door is open. I used to smoke in my car, but have never sparked up in my new car and I've had it for 3 or 4 years.

When a B&M gets too many guys smoking and the air quality gets really poor, I'm not comfortable anymore. I just get down the road.
I used to be the same way with bars. When the cigarette smoke got too thick, I'd get going.

Usually it's got to be a "way too many people and everyone's smoking" thing for it to get overbearing, but in B&M's in Ohio and PA in the winter, that's all day long every weekend.
I can still burn a couple and be okay, but we generally pack up and move when it gets too bad.

Smoke in my finished basement all winter long, and whenver there's a game or show I want to watch on. Leather chairs, tile floor and an ozone purifier. Faint smell for a while after smoking, but Hey....it's my house.

I smoke outside in my carport. Unless it get really cold down here, it's OK. The only time I smoke inside is at JR's in Selma. They have a great ventilation system and no matter how many are smoking there, it's never a problem.

I do smoke in my car. I use a plug in ionizer and a Fabreeze vent air freshener and it doesn't seem to bother anyone.

I don't mind a hotboxed room , not my favorite but it wont scare me off. What gets me moving down the road is when it gets so loud in a cigar bar that you cant hold a conversation any more. So many places now seem to forget what the whole cigar bar experience is supposed to be about. I should be able to sit in some comfy chairs and have a great conversation with a few BOTL's. But when they get a band in there whose sole goal is blow the windows out of every building in a one block radius I am instantly done.

Wife and I both smoke cigarettes. In the winter we have an area set up away from the living space to smoke. I now smoke my cigars there as well. We haven't smoked in the living areas since the first kid was born (she's 26 now). Now that the weather is getting nice, we'll move it back outside. Nice spot on the front porch with my porch swing.

I will, on occasion, smoke indoors in a casino or cigar lounge, but that's pretty rare. I never smoke in my home or even my man cave, except for a rare pipe, in my man cave. I honestly detest the lingering smell of cigar smoke! Most of my smoking is done, in my back yard, on my covered patio, with two hanging outdoor fans.

I mostly smoke outside at home or in the garage with doors open and a heater in the winter. We have a local cigar lounge that I also go to and smoke indoors there. Even though it is ventilated it can get smoky sometimes.

If I can smoke outside that is my preference -- or in my car, but only with the top down.

I smoked in my last apt for 10 years, 8 of them cigarettes, then quit smoking those and took up cigars, always had a fan blowing most of the smoke out, but even that my apt already wreaked of cigarette smoke, even I noticed it once I quit.

New apt for the last couple of months and I haven't smoked inside yet (even though I can), I have a little balcony with a couple chairs and table and can just watch the tv from out there when I'm smoking. I keep thinking that I should just smoke inside but so far I haven't given in to the temptation, that might change in a few months when it's winter though, winter in San Diego can be brutal.

Outside, inside, it's all the same to me.
Don't care if I smell light cigar smoke, as it covers up the farts.....
