Default Driod2 and DroidOS phones

So I got to demo one today at the local VZW store. Damn they are NICE. Love the Android based phones. I have another year and some change till I get an upgrade though, so while I wait and drool, does anyone else have an Android phone they really like?

I've played with the Incredible by HTC, the Driod/Droid2/DroidX, and one other that I can't think of the name of that I didn't like too much. Anyone want to weigh in?

I've been waiting for the iPhone to hit Verizon, which probably won't be until next year (if at all) and have been hearing a lot of good things about Droid. I'm going to have to check them out.

I switched from my old Moto Q9c to the new HTC EVO 4G about a month ago. The thing is super fast! There's like a b'zillion apps available and the phone overall addresses anything and everything I would be looking for in the perfect hand-held device. I just upgraded to Froyo 2.2 which addressed any original short comings that have been discussed online regarding the EVO's initial debut. I'm still finding my way around the OS since the 2.2 upgrade.

Lots of discussion here:

But yea, I'm very happy with my Droid X, and my Eris before that.

I got a Moto Droid in April and recommend it highly. From the voice activation, which allows me call anyone by voice command or ask for GPS navigation to anywhere or do a Google search; get my email; foreign language translation; Bluetooth hands free through my car stereo; mp3 music download/playback; calendaring; weather reports with current radar; etc, etc, etc. It is truly awesome! I sound like a commercial...very rare for me.
