I would guess that you will have several different favorites over the years if you stick with it.

Truth. My favorites have changed about three times over the last year alone.

One of my favorites is the 88 but in the maduro. Definitely a great stick in either wrapper.

That is difficult to answer: I've never been able to isolate specific flavors like the professional reviewers do. In fact, to me, the smell of the cigar is as important as the taste (maybe more so). Maybe it has a stronger profile than the cigars I'm used to: I have smoked more Montecristos than any other brand, and I think they are pretty mild. I smoked a My Father Le Bijou recently and I was impressed with that as well. Why: not sure, just liked it. I am a big fan of vanilla ice cream too, but I couldn't tell you why If I could answer your question, it would probably be much easier to find other cigars in the same class as the 88. Unfortunately, for me, I think it will be a random search for the next great cigar.

Cigars can be analogous to hot women TV stars.

I'm a big fan of the 88 but have not tried the Maduro yet. I need to sell something and get a commission so I can afford to buy more.

Probably my favorite NC producer, but picking a favorite out of the 88, 888, HL and MK is hard enough, not to mention the box-pressed Eperneys, et al.

The MK is currently one of my favorites. I've also tried the Eperney, and while I liked it, it is certainly not among my favorites. I've waiting to try a CG4 that's reating in the humi. Can anyone explain how the 88 compares? What I like about the MK is the powerful roasted coffee/pecan flavors.
