Default NFL fans, Preseason impressions?

For those of you that have been watching. Has any player or team impressed you?

I know it's just pre-season........

I think Peyton Manning looked pretty good after sitting out a year. After we see him throw the deep ball and take a few hits.............time will tell.

RG3 performed well IMOP for having such a big role right out the chute. Not big numbers but he seemed to GET IT.

Tebow.....................still looks like Tebow but in a different uniform.

Nick Foles, he played very well when Vick came out. 6/10, 144 yards and 2 touchdowns.

QB rookie Ryan Tannehill for the dolphins seemed to fit in well. 14/21 167 yards and 1 TD.

Anyone else?

Man, Andrew Luck looked awesome. I was really looking forward to watching him.

Looks like the Colts may be back on the radar this year!

Pre-season means little to me. Miami was smart releasing Chad Johnson.

I know it dosen't really mean anything. It does give you a chance to look at some new talent though.

I was happy with RGIII's short amount of play. He seemed to do well enough, although they didn't give him anything difficult. Pretty excited to see how the season unfolds.

Yea, I thought it looked like he fit in rather well. Seemed to have a good grasp on what he is doing.

So far the things I've noticed in the few games I've watched.

With all the media hype, the Jets are a worse team than they were last year, and its only a matter of time before Teabow is starting. They have 0 at WR.

RG3 and Luck both looked good. RG3 looked better, and at the end of the day, he is going to be the better pro.

As a Browns fan, it was nice to see Weeden throw a deep ball. I have some optimism going into the season even though our schedule is brutal.

I still think the Bears are going to be a tough out, and may take the NFC North, Packers still look like they are going to give up too many yards.

Browns had a good draft this year, It could be a motivational season for them.

Comparing RG3 to Luck is hard to do as their style is a bit different. I think it's a bit early to say RG3 is better. Time will tell.

I just think the upside on RG3 is so high. Don't get me wrong I think Luck is going to be a great pro, I just think that RG3 is a special talent. He has all the physical tools of a guy like Vick, but seems to have a maturity you didn't see in a young Michael Vick.

The guy is a world class track athlete, has a rocket arm, can make all the throws, is extremely intelligent and is dedicated to learning his craft. Put that together with the military background he grew up in and we know the discipline is there with the tools.

Either way the Colts and Skins both fared very well with their QBs.

Bucs looked pretty good. Hope Schiano can really turn them around. I used to live in NJ and went to my fair share of Rutgers games back in the day..all I can say is that he is one HELL of a coach and I hope he prove the same at the pro level. Took him a few years to turn around Rutgers, hopefully he can do the same in Tampa sooner.

The Giant's schedule is insane. Its going to be real hard to come through that with a 10+ win season.

That being said, if they get into the playoffs, nobody will want to play them.

First look at my Raiders last night and they still look sloppy and off. Preseason may not mean much as far as score and real plays but if you can't get the basic down in preseason then it's hard to see it getting any better throughout the year.

Guessing your a huskers fan?

Excited to see where they go this season...was a Dolphins fan for awhile when I was younger but I've been in Tampa since '05 and have no plans on leaving so I figured I might as well adopt the team...and lately the Dolphins have been EASY to leave, just terrible.
