Default oliva V maduro

I want to start off by saying I am not a person who can detect lots of flavors and stuff in my cigars....well most of them time anyway. This time seems to be one of them. This cigar had tons of flavor but I didnt find it all that strong, I would put it about the same level of strength as the current run triple madduro camacho. I made the mistake of storing this a little too high rh wise, 67 vs 63-65 anyway onto the review.

Overall this was a great cigar construction was great, taste was wonderful strong tobacco taste with that classic maduro sweetness to it. I put a V-cut on the end of the torp and it seemed to be fine...for a few puffs by the end of the first third of the cigar I was thinking that was a bad idea. The further I got into the cigar the more I realized, yes the V-cut was a bad idea so out came the palio and off went more of the cap and in came a better draw and less stale tobacco taste, overall Id call that a win win. The ash held for about 2" or so before I ended up wearing it.

While I could sit here and hammer out every thought I had durring the cigar but since a picture is worth a 1000 words Ill just post this:

This cigar was a winner, is it worth $8.20 a stick or 82 a box...Im not sure. Its hard for me to plunk down that much money on any one cigar and the last one I did so with was the Kristoff and they are about the same price here in VA so I guess I have to say yes this cigar was worth it since I would grab this one over the Kristoff. I did have some burn problems but overall it was a fine cigar which I would happily smoke again.
