Yeah i do too. after the paint was stripped off i was able to see the condition of the wood and i realized that there was no way i would be able to bring this back to a showroom shine. And i just like the old look a lot of times

Looks good Erick! Great salvage job on unused furniture.

Just to make certain, that is Spanish Cedar, not some other type of cedar, right? Better to ask than not to.

Well its not aromatic cedar. I picked it up at the local menards, the packageing didn't state what kind but it looks like southern or norhtern white cedar

It looks great but my concern is with the cedar lining . Most local stores don't carry "Spanish Cedar" , usually only a woodworkers specialty store will carry it . A store like WoodCraft , Rockler or a specialty lumber yard usually carry some small quantities in stock .
