Great season Preds, you got farther than before!

Now if the Sharks can get back on the gas pedal and finish off the wings, I will enjoy seeing the WCF's

Fak!
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=5...d-rr-headlines
Clowe who I said months ago was the true leader of the team didnt make the trip to detroit. This could be very difficult for the Sharks to overcome. Clowe is the emotional leader of the team and their playoff points leader. In a critical game 6 where the Sharks need to show their heart I cant think of much worse blow for the team. Looks like this may be going 7 and I wont have my hopes up if it does. I only hope Marleau and some others decide to play tonight and not be Dats doormat again.

Sad today. The big line will have to earn their money and go after Dats and Franzen.

Guess none of it matters I think the Nucks will beat whichever team advances

Bad news about Clowe, Mike, but the Sharks have the guns if they all bring their A-game. I will not log-in tonight after 9PM PDT so as not to spoil the game on my TiVo delay.

I disagree about the Canucks, I think they are beatable.

I really think the Hawks were the only team that could do them.
Nucks have size, speed, skill, and hit hard. If the Sharks get through they have a shot maybe as they can match up in some areas. Hell I dont know whats going to happen with Sharks and Wings now though. Some Sharks are showing no heart and the guy who emotionally leads the team will be gone. Just a bad storm for Sharks.

Atleast I can enjoy watching Micah practicing up in age with a travel team tonight. Seem to enjoy that more then watching hockey now.

Preds couldn't beat the Canucks because they just don't have the scoring...The Wings and Sharks can put up some goals, especially if they get in Bobby Luo's head early.

Now is the time Joe, Joe, Devan, Patrick, Danny and others need to step up. Tonight will say a lot about the Sharks' character.

Has Ben Eager been hurt or been a healthy scratch? This type of game seems to bring out the best in him.

I know you are preparing yourself for potential disappointment, Mike, but I think you might be underestimating your boys.

Franzen out, Modano in for the Wings.

Guess it just comes from years of underachieving. Skill is not the problem with this club. Its always been leadership and heart. Clowe had really established himself this year as that guy. Now when they need him more then ever hes gone likely for the series. Thinking that Kronwall hit did it.

Well like I said by the time I get home from the rink with the boy the game will be atleast half over.

Todd M. told the media the upper body injury to Clowe was not caused by the Kronwall hit.

Time for Super Joe P. to step up. I will be on-line after I watch the game on TiVo.

Any idea on Eager?

No on Eager. To be completely honest I have not watched or been focused on the Sharks as much as usual. To much family and kid hockey going. I have missed all the post game interviews as well for this series.

Just hoping the boys show up tonight.

Edit:
Hes been scratched since his game misconduct in game 2. Dog house? I think its time to let him out.

I just cant cheer for the a few guys on the Canucks. My disdain for the Wings is more based on their obnoxious fans who live out here. I cant find flaw in their players except for clownshoes so in the end I would have to lean that way.
Nah, I was in Texas visiting my in-laws Thursday-Monday. Never watched a minute of TV let along hockey while I was there. Looking forward to tonights game 6.

From what I've read and seen in the highlights: I think it's funny how Clowe was running his mouth about wishing he could have gone after Kronwall at the end of game 4 (rather than Abs), only to get creamed by him in game 5.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lf-HK776GHA

Then, first report of why he's missing the game said flu, next "upper body" injury NOT related to the hit. Sorry, gotta call . Talk radio around here is calling it the NK55 flu.

Either way it will be fun to watch; more fun if the Wings can force a game 7.

Yeah I am assuming it was the hit. He poped back up like nothing but Clowe is a heart and soul guy if he could move no way he was going to show any signs of pain.

I think McClellan's hand may be forced tonight with Eager. If he doesnt he may really screw the team provided he isnt hurt.
