I got ten troop sticks says I take you to the yard. My matchups are real strong this week. I didn't even look at yours. I should be good for at least 180 points this week. I don't think you got 180 points in you on your best week.

I wasn't trying to bait you just giving you time to stock up on band-aids, Neosporin, and Tucks Cooling Pads.
However Your boast of being able to score 180 points has inspired me to put up 18 sticks to your 10.

As a side note:
Vin get that first win outta the way this week
Hate to see you open 0-4

I updated the list as best I could. If anyone else has had any action that I missed, please fix it up. Also, I can see the format of our "keep track" thing sucks, and the current suckage will only be dwarfed as the season goes on.
If anyone wants to rebuild it or improve on it, please be my guest.

Default Re: Fantasy Football for stakes and the Troops

I posted this at the League site, but figured it best to post here as well...

I meant to change the waivers to instant when I set up, then I wanted to make a post this weekend that I was gonna change it, and I forgot cause I've been out of town.
Being as I just drafted three guys, it wouldn't be fair for me to do it now.
There's no reason to wait till Tuesday night for players to clear waivers. It will negate waiver priority though, which was my intent.
My thinking behind this is that you'll be able to pick up guys while you're watching the games on the weekend, especially if you get a "hunch", see an injury that's gonna push a guy to first team, etc...
You can beat other guys to the punch, making it that much more fun, and require that much more attention, which was also my initial intent.
I want this thing wide open and balls out, and want guys excruciatingly involved.
I just want everyone to know I'm changing that setting the next time I think about it, sometime after Tuesday at midnight, so prepare to be on your toes, and DO NOT rely on your waiver priority from Wednesday on.
God Bless,
The Management

A note on the waivers thing...
A few guys that were dropped prior to the change are still on waivers. I think I can manually release them, but I have to look. I'll try to do that tomorrow, maybe even tonight.
Then it should be instant all the time.
It should help a lot if one of your guys is probable and then you find out an hour before game time he can't start. You should be able to grab a free agent and use him immediately. At least that's how I imagine it.
