My fishing partner told me his wife wanted to spend more time with him, I told him to buy us a drift boat and she could row while we fished, win/win I thought

Sounds like a plan to me...my guess is she wasn't as interested or amused.

My car - 2004 VW TDI Jetta. Just took it in for it's 140K maintenance. Love the car; got the leather interior (black on black - really nice) and with my ~65 mile daily commute, the 40+ MPG of the little turbo diesel just rocks. It really excels on the highway with the huge low end torque the diesel has. AC on, cruse set @ 75...and I get 45+ on the freeway. For the win...
![]() Wife's rig - 2006 BMW X3 3.0L. Great car, fun to drive....she puts very few miles on it so it's petrol thirst isn't a big issue.... ![]()

[quote=Barcode;1414522]Bought an F-650 and a wrecked excursion and grafted them together. Took about 3 months to complete. Great truck, and pulls several of my big trailers.

Its a 65 Lincoln Continental, I just finished putting a 6.0L triple turbo'd diesel in it. As soon as I get back home to AZ i'm going to do the body and paint work. Probably take another two years to finish. But its my hobby.

I just had to resurrect this thread....I love vehicles! I have built dozens but as of late I'm trying to quit to focus on the cigar life!
MY Suzuki sidekick 1.8L Turbo charged Audi motor...recently sold. It was fast and fun but my dog demanded a bigger rig! ![]() ![]() My rig of the month 95 Mitsubishi montero- stock with rear air locker and 33" tires ![]() this was the day I bought it after a trip to the tire store. More mods to come. FWIW...we only drive paid off rigs hence the old junk. but its my junk! ![]() |
