Mario was cheap shot artist himself he would start something then hide behind a teammate.
He also skated with Ulf Samuelson another cheap shot artist that ended Cam Neely career.

I love that Mario may have to rethink whether he wants to be a part of the NHL. Maybe it time to go then. Maybe you could sell to Balsillie so Toronto can have an NHL team too!

I didnt want to say it,thanks for writting that. When he spoke out all I could think was "Hello pot this is the kettle. Your black" Uhhhhh dude you employ Matt Cooke who is currently suspended AGAIN. You are a hypocrite to get on the soap box with suspensions and your team leading the league in fights. Maybe a team decided to send a message.

Well, the Avs could lose their 10th straight if they cannot beat the Sharks Saturday...

On the flip side, I am getting my fix from some GREAT tournament HS hockey....

I wonder if Mario realizes the NHL can survive without him.

Although i only caught the first period and a few min of the second, it was nice to see the Wings beat the Lightening. Great to see Stuart back, and without any hesitation. He was scrapping in the corners and throwing his body around. He's easily the most physical defensemen we have. Even though Kronwall is known for being a big hitter, Stuart is still more in your face on every shift.

Ugh! Luckily, the Sharks kept the Caps from getting closer.

Watched the third of this game. Wings looked really good. Howard played well. Not sure how many locked passes and blocked shots the Wings had, but it looked like they should have set some record. Hell the 6th goal was a blocked pass which resulted in a breakaway. They looked good. Looks like I may have to eat my words this year as the wings are getting healthy and rolling hard. I will say I thought Stuart was taking a few to many liberties with that cage. I dont like seeing guys who cant take some shoves up high give some.

As mentioned Sharks won again and are something like 11-2-2 in their last 15. Should be 12-1-2. How they lost that Panthers game still has me pissed. No game lost was a blowout I think all were one goal games. Nemo is plaging well in net and the team is playing great team D.

B's trade Joe Coloborn and draft picks to Toronto for Kaberle.
In a cap space move, Wheeler and Stuart to Atlanta for Peveraly and Valabik.
I don't see this doing anything more then getting a puck moving defenseman to play point on the powerplay.
Looks to me like trades just to make trades?

That trade is weird Tom. Swapping struggling goalies.
Sharks send Derek Joslin to Canes in one trade and get defenseman Ian White in a second trade. Completely unfamiliar with the kid. I know the Sharks have been much happier with their new team defense approach and current winning streak, but was expecting them to try to land a big name dman. Thats looking like it wont happen.

Anyone look at the pacific division standings. Would appear to be the toughest division in the west.

Maybe they figure a change of scenery will do them both good?

Ian White is pretty solid, with some attitude, at least that's how I remember him with Calgary....good 4 or 5 D-man.

All the papers here had the Hawks hot after Mark Stuart, that is apparently out now.

Sharks will play the Wings tuesday and the Pens wednesday. Hate hate hate hate hate to both teams.
Make the world a better place punch Matt Cooke in the face.
Come to think of it punch a bunch of the Wings in the face, but I know that wont happen.
Wonder what the odds are for no fights tuesday and a couple of fights wednesday?

I like the fact that they may have a Quarterback on the power play now.

I think they made themselves better with Peverley, and Kaberle.
They Traded draft picks.

I liked Stuart. I thought he was going to be with the team for a while but I think they did the right thing.

I am sad to see Peverley leave Atlanta, but it probably won't matter as much when the whole team ships out next season.
