Living in New England I consider it a must to own AWD/4WD vehicles. My wife's Volvo S60 and my Infiniti G35x performed quite admirably during this weekend's storm while wearing only all-season tires. I wasn't buzzing around like some of the Jeeps with M+S tires but I had no trouble getting around and through snow drifts where other non-AWD cars became stuck.

Only in the snow do I miss my jeep.

My hatch back on blizzaks and no front bumper does pretty darn well for what it is though.

hell, it was 70 degrees here most of last week. I love winter in the south! It's cold as crap out now though since the rain clouds moved out.

I had a Cherokee for a couple of years until it decided to become suicidal and get into 2 major crashes in 3 months. Neither my fault. (2nd one only 2 weeks after getting it back from being in the shop for 6 weeks for the 1st one.)
It was awesome in the snow.

Jeeps -- Bouncy but fun
