ImageBurn is a very good writing/burning program that is freeware/donationware.
DvDshrink misses some of the newer DvDs but is also free. DVDFab will get most all DvDs - paid version will do the rest conversion etc - DvDShrink will take care of it after DVDFab and then onto image burn. at one point I was using Iriverter (an app made by Iriver) to convert DvDs over to avi/mp3 player compatible files but I don't believe it is around anymore. |

I use DVDFAB for DVDs.
Handbrake is for PCs as well, I use it everyday to do Blurays. http://bgpictures.com/tampa-wedding-...n-of-the-cost/ http://bgpictures.com/tampa-wedding-...s-on-apple-tv/

I use ConvertXtoDVD. Great program, does everything. Encodes then burns. They have a free ( trial version ) and a pay version. I have a key if you want to give it a whirl. Let me know.
IMGburn works ok. I noticed some lag between video and audio. But then again it's free. Imgburn is just for burning. DVDFlick is also free but has some minor issues. DVDFlick can be used to convert, but it is extremely slow.
