Are you sure? I am almost certain that the regular line of Famous Nicaraguans were all boxed - at one time.

yup.

The private selection were always boxed.

The Nicaraguans were never boxed - considering what the originals (3000) were, they couldn't USE the box because of "Copyright Infringement".

Easily one of the best cheap cigar deals out there. They age well, and the later releases (I still have a drawer of the first version) are reasonably true to the original. I love this stick. Great bang for the buck and full of flavor.

There's a x3 auction of bundles of 20 on the Famous auction site. It sounds like maybe there's a split possibility here. I'm interested in a 1/3 of that if anyone else is.

I love 'em too and buy a couple bundles each year to have on hand. I smoke the old ones and let the new ones age.

I did have some issues with a few plugged torpedos out of one bundle, but other than that they have been awesome.
