I chose corojo, but I love Ecuadorian wrappers as well -- ECCT, ECSU, and Oliva is growing some Habano now in Ecuador that is really nice... I don't know what it is about Ecuador, but these wrappers are extremely aromatic, and quite distinct from the native CT or Sumatra wrappers.

This is an interesting point, but I know I definitely check the origin when they refer to maduros. For example, I definitely prefer a Nicaraguan Maduro over a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro. For that reason, it makes it very hard for me to select maduro from the list above. Also, could Corojo be considered a type of habano wrapper? ![]() Sorry - I will try to get back on track - for me, it is definitely Corojo. ![]() |
