The local shop to me has a sale every year for the founding father of the brand. He was 98 this year, so all pipes were buy one get one for 98 cents

The rustication is actually cork. Tom Spanu makes a briar pipe and then attaches cork to it. Was kind of leary about the cork coming loose, but the store owner has been smoking one for years with no issues. Says it smokes very cool in the hand

Today, I just bought my first Dunhill from a private seller. It's not brand new, but sure looks like it. It was too good of a deal to pass up.
After years of the slippery slope with cigars, now I am starting down the same slope with pipes. ![]() |

That's a nice looking pipe Jerry. Did the previous owner put in alot of smoking hours with it, or was it lightly used?

Thanks Mark! I appreciate the kind comment.
I was told it had only been lightly used and it certainly appears to be the case. It has been well taken care of. I can't wait to put it to good use. ![]() |

Picked up 4 oz of a local favorite: No-Bite Burley from Buffalo Tobacco Traders here in GR. A very nice smoke.

Hey all, I recently purchased and received a new Winslow 300. I'll post some pics of it tomorrow.
And yes, if you've followed any of my recent posts, I have a problem... |

After recently being gifted a little pipe tobacco, I picked up the old habit.
I couldn't find my pipe from years ago ( I swear its somewhere in this house...) I picked up a little cheapie cob and then.... I bought these... ![]() ![]() All three for under $60.00 off of eBay. All unsmoked, new old stock. The top is a unmarked cob with a filter in the stem?? The middle is a Brigham #329, but the web site shows a smooth finish, mine is older?? The bottom is a Missouri Meerschaum. I'll use the cobs at work, that way I won't be too upset if they get screwed up. The Brigham will get burned in as soon as it stops raining... So how did I do??

now all I have to do is sample a bunch of different tobaccos to try and figure out what I like.
