Patrick, I've seen quite a few old lady's with full back tats before... that doesn't mean they are members or even ride. I'm still holding out that she used to be someone's old lady at some point in her life.

Sorry you're not digging on it Greg. This is actually my favorite season so far.

I don't want to have kids or anything but if someone took my cat...... I wouldn't waste much time catching them....after that it may become time consuming. So I can definitely agree with you on that. If anyone takes anything of mine that breaths they don't simple as that.

Another thing the aryan that raped jax's mom.....he got off WAY too easy....a headshot...give me a break.

Anyways, I hope this season gets better and they get the kid thing squared away. But now they got jax's old lady......so annoying. The season plot in one word Abduction.

Remember the former member that they burned his tattoo off with a torch? The SOA seem to be puss-ing out more and more as the show goes along. That van bomb in the barn, and then not beating the crap out of the 2 SAMBEL guys who didn't get trapped, when they already suspect them. The SOA needs less estrogen and more testosterone.

I completely agree, I've been saying that since the show started. EVERY other biker group is ruthless and doesn't care. Why do Samcro worry about "heat" and "police" when no one else does? Makes no sense. Those Sambel guys were suspected and didn't get hurt by the blast and were WAY far away RIGHT when it happened. That is not a coincidence.

I think that is the key conflict of the whole show. Is the SOA just a bunch of thug gangbangers or something more? It is possible to be ruthless and still stand for something. Jax's entire internal conflict reflects this and we see that play out through the lens of the choices he makes as he handles his trials like losing Abel, his Mom's legal issues etc.

Sometimes Jax gets caught up in thinking having integrity is just good business and sometimes he really struggles with trying to have a moral compass and do right in a world that is completely morally ambiguous.

These conflicts are also played out in his wavering affiliations to the ideal of his father (idealistic) vs. his stepfather (pragmatic). This is what makes the storyline of his fathers infidelity in Ireland so explosive. It puts the whole idealized nature of his father in chaos for Jax if/when he finds this out.

I do think the Able thing is played out and the pace of this season has been inconsistent. The issues with Jacob Hale, The Mayans, L.O.A.N., Law Enforcement is plenty of antagonists to deal with and IMHO lead to much more interesting and intriguing storylines. I feel like the whole Ireland thing is a hell of a lot of set-up for the family history payoff which I just don't think is going to live up to all of this build up.

I agree, great episode. There were more than a few times I had to turn away from the tv.

The previews imply that Jax will end up leaving Abel in Ireland with the adopted family. Doesn't bode well for accepting Tara's pregnancy if that is true.

The who trip to Ireland thing has been fairly stupid to me. Jax should have dragged that priest to go get his son, right then. As to giving my son away to someone else, no way! Not even going to think about it. If it comes down to either change my lifestyle and job or give up my children, kids win every time. This is just a more convoluted replay of Jax wrestling with what his dad wrote in that book. I think this will become the recurring theme for the life of the show, Jax is waffling about leaving the club, then he will get sucked back in, repeat ad infinitum.

Agree with you 100% for real life. But for drama, not interested in watching Jax's adventures as the new assistant manager at Applebees.

Your take on the "waffling" is spot on too, that was set up as the conundrum from episode #1.

I, on the other hand, would love to see Jax's adventures as an Applebee's manager. I can just picture some dudes comin' in having too many big brutus beers thinking they will have some fun smack talkin' the dorky manager, when all of a sudden.....Bam, Jax has a relapse and goes all SOA on them.

Ok, Ok, so maybe his adventures wouldn't last long in that scenario, but it would be funny to watch.

Peggy Bundy seems willing to kill for the kid more so than Jax.

I am ok if Jax is going to waffle over leaving the MC, as long as it is for interesting reasons, because some crazy priest handed my son over to be adopted is not an interesting reason.
Hey, here is the next story line, Jax flies back to the US with no son, and since they never reported him as officially kidnapped. Jax goes to Federal prison for the disappearance of his child.

It's not for two weeks, how can you tell which scenes were from next week and which were from the finale, Dan? Either way, looking forward to a great last two weeks.

I thought when they were showing the preview, they said that there was only 1 episode left?
