Yea, Riley definately knows what's about to happen when I reach for a cutter, lighter and cigar. I grabed a stick a few weeks ago and went over to the neighbors and left him in the house. NOT a happy pup!

After reading this "thread" I thought I'd post up a few pics of my boys. Rusty is the stupid beagle and he is 15 years old now. TJ is 8 years old and is mixed, his mother is Blue Heeler and his father is Border Collie. I had actually gone to breeder to pick up a Blue Heeler - but god love him - I left with him.

Here they are together.

Rusty being Rusty stretching it out after a hard day of sleeping.

Old guy. Notice the tail is a blur though.

TJ intently surveying his domain for invading birds and squirrels.

I often refer to Rusty as the stupid beagle and at times just plain stupid - but it's always a term of endearment. He is just hard headed and stubborn.

And there is this picture of TJ. I love this picture. I always visualize him thinking: "Damn I wish this ball was a cow or some sheep - anything, just anything that I could herd for once."

As soon as I can get them to sit still long enough, I'll post pictures of our four rats.

To anyone looking for pets for their kids, consider rats. Much more friendly than a hamster, more of a personality, and a slightly longer lifespan.
