It may not be as much as some of you guys had, but this is the first time that we've seen snow in december since 1981. We usually get some late january or early/mid february. This is promising to be a long cold winter

We nearly got more snow in this storm than we did all of last year. I can't remember when we had over a foot of snow fall in one storm.

It's still bloody snowing here. Somewhere around 16 inches is my guess.

Stay safe folks... and thanks for sharing the pics. I know I don't want any of that action, but I do like seeing the pics.

We were in Norfolk for my wife's graduation during the storm - nothing but wind and rain there, thankfully. Still, I'm glad to be back home in AZ today. We moved here to get away from that chit, and being there was just too close for comfort.

I made the fire a little too big. I had to move away from it for a bit. Nothing like sweating when it's freezing out.

As I was about to head out to shovel, 3 guys knocked on the door to ask if I wanted them to do it. Best $50 I spent all week. Dam corner house. 250' of sidewalk can be a pain.

Snow plow was nice to put a 5' wall of snow in front of blazer

Since no shoveling had time to play with the pooch

Did someone say BACON!
