Mine aren't quite as good as most of the ones in this thread, but I think they came out OK. I don't have a great camera (Canon Powershot G6) for this kind of shooting. It's not an SLR.

I like these pics. It gives off what I can only describe as a "festive" feel to everything.

A friend let me borrow her Canon Rebel XS that's a 10.1MP DSLR. This is the first time I've gotten to play with a "real" camera and this morning I took a TON of pictures with it. I'll be putting them up here soon.

I've always loved photography and did pretty well with my point and shoot, but this is a whole different world (and I have TONS to learn). I may get one of these... I really dig it.

Good stuff Dan!! Very nice! Photos and smokes! I have yet to try an ISOM, but as soon as I find one, I shall remedy that! After some photos first though! Only so often does one get the chance to photograph a rare beast!

I've been impressed with the way this thread has gone. Wasn't sure of the response I would get from it, but I'm glad there are so many that also have similar interest to my own!

Those were taken with either a D50 or a D80... Depends on which one was wearing which lens that day. Once upon a time before my divorce I used to be into photography and had a good bit of gear. That all changed when I saw the bill for the lawyer.
