Just got back from Asheville NC where I made a couple pickups of mostly local brews and a few others that don't distribute to GA as well as some I just couldn't pass up (i.e. *****es Brew)

Appalachian Vinters in Asheville, NC...looked like the last bottle but they may have had more. A second release also was sent to distributors on Nov. 15th so you should see it again on shelves any day now.

It was the same here but this haul came from my trip to Asheville this weekend and one of the stores I visited still had this lonely bottle on the shelf so I adopted it

Yeah and the new Brew Masters show is not going to make it any easier to find even the second release of Bi***es Brew. It was pretty darn good, though, I must say. And I'm not the biggest DFH fan.

I'm a big Sam fan. A few of their beers are home runs for me: 90min, old school, immort, but Sam is such a character, himself, and perfect for a show like this.

Round 1 - The on sale and cheaper than home

Round 2 - The banned by TABC edition - I wish they had had more Double Bastard, probably buy a case of it at Christmas to last me a while.

Good to hear about the Red & White. Went lookin for B1tches Brew, but was sold out of course.

Been drinking the Double for years, when I moved to Texas never knew until recently why I couldn't find it locally. Turns out TABC won't license that adult beverage because the word 'masturbatory' is on the label.

Are you kidding me? Yeah same here the double is one of my few staples I always pick up. I like the Red & White and Black & Blue. Probably the Black & Blue more but the masses don't agree, meh.

Yeah B!tches brew was so freaking limited, I scored one bottle of it and that was all. It was good though.

Wish I was.. Evidently its one of many reasons why a lot of my favs aren't available here. How about having the word beer anywhere on a label, even the back on a 'beer' with more than 5% alcohol won't be licensed for individual sale.

Anchor Chrimstas Ale Magnums from 2009 and 2010. Want to get 5 years age on either one before opening.

They do such a wonder for job with them.

Going to stock up today. I'll have to look for that Stone Lucky Bastard. I am not much of a fan of the AB or OAB (not sure why).
