Feels good men! Feels real good. Been a long, hard season, and arguably the best in Alabama history....

SEC Champs -- check
National Champs -- check
Undefeated Season--check
First Heisman Winner--check
Butkus Award Winner--check
Six All-Americans --check
First win against Texas--check

Gonna be a long time till September gets here so I think I'll relish this one a while. Enjoyed the camaraderie with you fine folks this year, certainly made the season more enjoyable for me.

With Penn State and Florida both on the regular schedule next year for Bama it should be an exciting season. I can't wait.

And next year we get both Florida and Penn State in Tuscaloosa in what will be the newly expanded Bryant-Denny Stadium, with capacity for about 102K.

Another BOTL is wondering why fans of SEC schools root for the whole conference. Some of u have already done this but lets rally to the defense of the SEC!!!

Three reasons.
1. It's called respecting your rivals.

2. It's because the SEC is the best college football conference as proven by the number of national championships SEC teams have won.

3. It's because we're tired of always having USC shoved to the top by the sports media because it's the glamour program and we're tired of always having freaking Notre Dame on the TV every weekend. Notre (when did we last have a winning season) Dame football is not a powerhouse.
