Didnt mean to say anything about what you said Joel, what you said is also accurate.
I guess I just assume if its a public network that it is probably unsafe... maybe I am the exception but I still am weary of making purchases on private networks even... |

I understand, it is sad some people are not taking this serious. At the end of the day it is there personal info that can be stolen.

My computer automatically notifies me of Apple updates (I assume through my Itunes account), and I update any that seem relevant.
My computer wouldn't actually complete the update the first two times, it would patrially upload and then give me an error message. I think it was less than a week ago that I was successful.
