Torps, Glorias & Glorias Extras from '97. Awesome stuff, and dwindling all too fast.
Otherwise, Glorias from the basic line for me. |

Bought a box of LGC Reserva Figurados. I've only smoked one but the first was remarkable for the nuclear pepper blast at the start, certainly the strongest pepper I've ever tasted, which toned down into strong pepper after the first inch. Also the highest nicotine cigar so far in my return to cigars last October, and I liked that. Great flavor with only a few deep notes, predominantly mid and high-level. I got the box for $95.00, and it was a great buy at that price. Recommended if you like peppery strength.

Serie R Maduro mini belicoso is my favorite cigar and has been for some time.
Now I'm at work and all I can do is dream of having one and the time to enjoy it |

Far and away MdO #3 are my favorite.
They're not dark at all, a nice light-brown color.

I feel the Reserva Figurado Las Flechas is an awesome cigar. It has everything, power, taste, complexity, balance and I would even say, grace, not that I can justify the last word, not that saying it makes it conclusive. A preponderance of medium and high notes but with the low sufficiently represented. I got a box of 20 for $96.00, a real steal, I think.
I smoked an R but am feeling that the dark, rich maduros aren't for me. Not enough complexity. I felt that way about the Camacho Blackout, an expensive, fully aged blend. Wrapper, binder and filler are aged before rolling and then aged another two years afterward. |
