I've been watching the brain project, and they've literally sent brain mesages across the internet with 100% translation on the other end.
There's a big wired up headset involved that reads the brain, and one person thinks a word that is transferred across the internet to the other side of the world (for effect, I imagine) and the headset on the other end stimulates the brain into understanding the word.
I'm not signing up. I'm likely to get hooked up to Sexy Dave.
