Anybody in Omaha for the CWS? or for that matter is anybody watching the CWS? This year it is in a new stadium, and its pretty awesome.

Going to watch the Virginia game today. It should be a good one. The new stadium is huge and the parking is much better now that its not at Rosenblatt anymore. going down early to tailgate. gonna grill, drink, and smoke some good cigars.

After dropping their first one against Vandy, my Heels survive for at least one more game. They shut out . . . and knocked out . . . the Longhorns 3-0 today.

Tyler Wilson pitched a gem last night to keep UVA alive for a SC showdown. The only minor disappointment was that Kenny Swab’s inside the park homerun was ruled a single and a three base error on the Cal center fielder. Swab was flying around the bases!

Virginia gave one away last night. Bases loaded in three of the extra innings played with less that 2 outs and didn't score either time.

That was killer. And to lose off 2 errors by your second relief pitcher/closer who had just come in the game?! I was ready to rip my hair out.

Up until that inning, it had been a great game.

Looks like my Gamecocks will pull this off again. Florida played a helluva game, but tonight, I think they are going to struggle agains Roth on the mound.

I hate to admit it... but I gotta agree with Chip. SC has one heck of a defense and I don't see us scoring enough to win unless it is 1-0 like it should have been last night
