Punxsutawney Phil saw no shadow foretelling an early spring. Based on the outcome, I am putting my full support behind this completely un-scientific method of groundhog forecasting. Anything to get us all outdoors smoking in our favorite spots again.

When I think of groundhogs I also think of a nice scoped varmint rifle chambered in .223 or .22-250.

The National Climate Data Center estimates that Phil is about 39% accurate. Actually, that ground hog can't figure out why all those crazy people are standing out in the cold like that and what they're cheering about!
