I was reading another thread about covering the smell of cigars when smoking indoors and it got me thinking... How many people use a Lamp Berger? I have had this lamp for five years now and I think it works excellent. They make many different scents for it. The one I am currently burning is a lime citrus scent. Works great. Normally after smoking in my cave I light the lamp and leave it burning for a good half hour (with the exhaust fan off). Seems to do the trick.
Anybody else using one of these? Mine is the Provencal which has a picture of an olive branch on the front. ![]() You can see the light amount of smoke coming from the top ![]() |

I have one, use it in winter, when it's too cold to exhaust air out of the window with a fan. It, along with various other devices, takes care of the smell in the room quite well.

Actually, I just ordered a Lampe Berger yesterday! They sell them at my local cigar shop, and they also use them there... they work really well from what I can tell (from their performance at the shop).
I got the swirl lamp with the sea mist fragrance. I'm pretty excited. ![]() ![]() |

So these things really work? With the cooler weather heading this way I am dreading heading to the garage with a heat lamp. My office would be much nicer. They eliminate the smell from the carpet and walls?

BTW, the expensive fuel is basically 91% isopropyl alcohol. So, you can buy the alcohol at Walmart cheap and add a little fragrance. I like essential oil of lemon. Repeat: 91% isopropyl - not, the more common 80%. |

We sell all the Lampe Berger stuff at the shop where I work. I haven't fired one up yet though to see how they work. Maybe I'll bring a small one home and try it out...
Theres a lot of smokers who use the "Neutral" scent after the smoke, and they swear by it. |

They do have some scents in the craft department. I've been using essential oils from health food stores. I think similar stuff is used in soap making. Try looking around online. I think my last bottle was actually from eBay.

![]() I believe they make a scent just for covering smoke. Most of the others work well but are not intended for masking smoke in particular. |

My wife bought me one last month. I use it every now and then. Seems to work pretty good, its just a matter of finder the right scent that suites your nose. Some of them are terrible.
