Aberlour A'bunadh. Had a mini Scotch tasting last weekend with KDKLOSS (Kevin) and after trying it decided to pick up a bottle. Quite good, and quite strong!

Grabbed a bottle of The Balvenie - 15 years for over the Turkey day holidays. Has been quite good and will probably finish it off over a second holiday dinner with friends and some Football games on the tube. There will be cigars as well, of course!

I was just given a bottle of The Balvenie 17 year New Oak for Christmas. I can believe my friend found a bottle of this, it was produced 3 years ago. I am going to save it until Christmas Eve when we do extended family Christmas. I hope I have the will power to last that long. At least I have a bottle of the 12 year double wood I can drink in the mean time.

Tried the Finlaggan over the weekend -- it's not Lagavulin by a long shot, but it's definitely Islay -- peat, salt, and iodine up the wazoo. For the price, I'm not disappointed.
