First one that comes to mind for me is Papajohn - he doesn't post unless he has something to say and really exemplifies what is good about this hobby and forum.

I didn't catch the part of the OP that said "unsung" heroes the first time I replied

My unsung heroes are Ferdie (Don Fernando) for his frequent and high quality reviews, Carlos (blueface) for the sense of humor he brings to the Habanos forum, Huy (Adriftpanda) for being an excellent trader and Brad (OLS) for well, let's call it "personality"

On the "just being good guys" front, there are literally too many to mention. I can't count the guys who look after me, pray for me, and check in on me.
